    Spirituality

Find dates and times for our services. Our worship style is a blend of the old and the new seeking to connect the wisdom and good news of the gospel with contemporary life.

    Community

We gather to deepen our spirituality, experience community and work for social justice. We meet weekly in groups, gatherings and special events to enrich our community life.

  • Respect for All

    Justice

At Glenrock Anglican we believe all people are made in God’s image. The biblical narrative affirms God’s concern for equity and justice and the need to care for the most vulnerable.

    About Us

Glenrock Anglican is a parish in the Diocese of Newcastle. We are located in the north-east corner of the Lake Macquarie district, one of the fastest growing regional hubs in Australia.

    Our People

Meet our parish Rector and Team Leader, Priest in Local Mission, Community Development Officer, Pastoral Care Coordinator, Parish Secretary and Parish Council Members here.

Our Vision

Our vision is to develop a vibrant and sustainable model of Missional church in North East Lake Macquarie.

Our church is nestled in a leafy and vibrant community on the traditional lands of the Awabakal people. We are blessed with a beautiful natural environment that reaches from the deep-blue ocean, golden sands and Glenrock Lagoon, through native bushland, to our leafy urban neighbourhoods of Kahibah, Whitebridge, Dudley, Highfields and Charlestown. This setting connects us daily to the beauty of God’s creation.

Our logo draws inspiration from the stunning natural treasure trove of Glenrock Conservation Area and the vibrant community hub of Kahibah – which takes its name from the Aboriginal word meaning a place for games, or to be active and eager.

Safe Ministry

The Anglican Diocese of Newcastle is committed to ensuring that all people who participate in our worship, programs and ministries have a safe and rewarding experience.

God has commanded us to love one another. Ensuring a person’s safety is an expression of that love. See more about Parish Safety Polices

We follow the Anglican Church’s Faithfulness in Service code of behaviour. We practice and utilise the material from the NSW Government’s Office of the Children’s Guardian ‘Safe Series’ - click on the ‘Kids Spot’ link for more information.
