Give thanks with a grateful heart.

Saint Paul tells us to give thanks in all circumstances – good or bad! (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

That might sound a bit loopy, but when we give thanks for someone who hurt us, it liberates us both. When we give thanks for pain, it loses its sting.

If I am a truly thankful person: Every day is a gift for which I’m grateful, and I make the most of every day.

Every person I meet is a gift, and I make the most of every encounter.

Every memory I have is a gift, and I celebrate every memory.

Every challenge I face is a gift, because when I meet the challenge I enjoy the feeling of success.
